Double Damage Games revealed a trailer for its first project: a space-adventure game titled Rebel Galaxies.

Double Damage Games is made up of two people: Travis Baldree and Erich Schaefer. Baldree and Schaefer had previously co-founded Runic games and worked on the Torchlight Series. The two left Runic Games about six months ago to found Double Damage Games.

Rebel Galaxy will put players in the captain’s chair of massive space ships and have them “battle pirates, explore anomalies, befriend aliens, scavenge battle wreckage, mine asteroids, and discover artifacts,” according to the announcement post on Rebel Galaxy‘s website. Players will also be able to choose between different morality choices, as showcased in the trailer when the insulting choice is made.

Rebel Galaxy is confirmed for release on Steam and PlayStation 4 in 2015. It will possibly release on Xbox One as well.
