Episode 109 – Puppet Fights – The Indie Haven Podcast Laura Kate September 29, 2015 Podcast 2 Download this episode (right click and save) Hello and welcome to Episode 109 of The Indie Haven Podcast, that weekly internet show where we get Indie developers on to talk about the world of indie development. This week we sit down to chat about everything that happened on the site during the last seven days, as well as Laura’s thoughts on the games at EGX. Mauricio Fidalgo would you please add a link to the games cited on this podcast? Gizensha “Is it possible to make a game that’s hard enough for the designer to not be able to complete it” – That’s basically why the original Rogue was made; to make a game that would be challenging to the designer via procedural content. As for the Valve VR headset, since it needs a fairly large space, it sounds more like an attempt to revitalize play away from home (Working more like Escape Rooms, I suspect, than traditional arcades – you pay for an hour session rather than paying per life, I suspect would work better for it)
