Yesterday, IndieCade announced the nominations for their 10th Anniversary Festival in October this year.

The juried indie game festival showcases what their judges consider to be the best examples of indie games in each given year, and this tenth event is set to include 36 official nominations, as well as a large selection of other games being showcased at the event.

Such nominations include non-linear narrative experience A Normal Lost Phone by Accidental Queens, who I interviewed here, and Christine Love’s critically-acclaimed and kinky visual novel Ladykiller in a Bind, as well as a whole other selection of the weird, the wonderful, and the insightful.

Also being showcased alongside the nominations are ultra-vibrant 80’s mystery Ghosts of Miami, which Carolyn Lovelace compiled a preview of in August, internet smash hit Dream Daddy: A Dad Dating Simulator, which we discussed in this episode of the Indie Haven podcast, and the long-awaited Pounded In The Butt By The Handsome Living Video Game Manifestation of the Life and Works of Dr. Chuck Tingle, the Chuck Tingle extravaganza game being co-developed by Zoe Quinn.

A full list of nominees and chosen games can be found here on the IndieCade website, and more games are to be announced in the next month leading up to the festival. But so far, the nominees and the showcases are looking to be quite an excellent selection.
