Good news for fans of Broken Sword, it seems the Kickstarter funded fifth instalment of the game, Broken Sword: The Serpents Curse, just got a new trailer.

Originally launching on iOS, Android, PC and Vita back in 2013, this latest trailer shows footage of gameplay captured on the PS4 version of Broken Sword 5’s long awaited console port.

From what we have seen so far it looks like players will get to enjoy the familiar gameplay style of the iOS, Android, PC and Vita versions as they take on the role of America tourist turned sleuth George Stobbart.

Players will be able to explore beautifully designed 2D environments with a 3D character model as they interact with various crime scene objects and items to try and solve the mystery of the Serpents Curse.

Although we don’t have any specific dates for when the games developers Revolution Software will be releasing the console port, we do know that it’s set to come out on Xbox One and PS4 sometime this summer.
