Super stylish first person shooter SUPERHOT will be out on PC come Feb 25, and will be released on Xbox One a few weeks later.

The strategic shooter’s concept is genius in its simplicity – time moves only when you do. Players navigate clinical white environments one step at a time, methodically avoiding the incoming bullet storm and blasting polygonal foes into showers of red shards.

The concept was originally developed by the SUPERHOT Team during the 7 Day FPS game jam, and the game went on to be successfully funded through Kickstarter. Looks like they really were onto something  – SUPERHOT was recently named a finalist of the Independent Games Festival and will go up against beloved titles like Undertale and Darkest Dungeon for the coveted Seumas McNally Grand Prize.

It’s also getting a physical retail release, dubbed the SUPERHOT Box Edition, produced by publishers IMGN.PRO.

There’s also a new trailer. While it still looks like smashing good fun, it seems to be playing to a more action-focused audience. Previous trailers better demonstrated the game’s deliberate, calculated flow. Still, looks pretty hot.
