The First Chapter of King’s Quest Gets A Release Date Phil Keeling June 30, 2015 Archives Adventure-centric games publisher Sierra announced today that the first chapter of its newest King’s Quest series will be released on July 28th of this year. Titled A Knight To Remember, this will be Sierra’s first King’s Quest game since Mask of Eternity in 1998. Set during various points in a now-elderly King Graham’s past, King’s Quest will follow various, untold stories from the classic monarch’s youth as he reminisces on his long and adventurous life with his granddaughter Gwendolyn. Developed by The Odd Gentlemen, King’s Quest will be an attempt at recreating the spectacle, the mirth, and the mind-bending puzzles of the point-and-click King’s Quest adventures of the past. King’s Quest: The Complete Collection, a bundle of all five of the latest series’ chapters is also available as a preorder for the Playstation Network and Steam starting today. The same collection will become available for preorder on the Xbox Games Store beginning on the 7th of July. King’s Quest: A Knight To Remember will be released on PC, PS3, and PS4 as a digital download on the 28th of July. It will become available for Xbox 360 and Xbox One on July 29th. In addition to the entirety of the series, The Complete Collection will include a bonus playable epilogue.
