When I Feel Like It – Croixleur Sigma Euan Burns February 6, 2015 Reviews 1 When I Feel Like It is our video series where we try to get through our massive backlog of games. In it we load up the game, play it for a little while and give you our immediate thoughts. Croixleur Sigma is… a game. It’s probably for the best that I didn’t properly review it. It rendered me quite speechless at times. Stormbringer I wish this wasn’t the default esthetic for Japan now. Is this what is meant by MOE? Every J game looks like this nowadays even though there is no real historical precedent. No celebrated game that looks like this. I don’t get it. I also feel like we’ve reached a point where every game should first begin with a frank description of what its makers are trying to achieve in making it. Looking at this game it feels like it was either made by someone who wanted a very specific experience, or it was made in short order utilizing stock artwork that while appears very polished isn’t representative of the shallowness of the game itself. As a big fan of the first Persona game I tried to play P4 once, we sat through more than an hour of introductory text before just turning it off. Japan is on another wavelength.
