If you’ve ever seen The Untouchables or felt let down by what a disappointment L.A. Noire ended up being, then Blues and Bullets may be the title for you.

This brand new episodic series from developer A Crowd of Monsters releases on Steam July 23 and looks to satisfy those craving film noir experience in their games. The game explores the story of real life crime fighter Elliot Ness after his famous take down of mob boss Al Capone. The retired cop finds himself pulled back in when his former colleagues appear to ignore the plight of missing children.

The trailer reveals a game that has it all: gun combat, sleuthing, quick time events, branching narratives and an aesthetic that invokes old school black-and-white movies. The game looks like it has the total package, hopefully it can deliver.
