Co-creator of atmospheric adventure Gone Home, Johnnemann Nordhagen, has revealed the first title to come from his new studio Dim Bulb Games.

Titled, Where The Water Tastes Like Wine, the game is similar to Gone Home in that it will be focused on exploration, but the scope will be much larger and thematically diverse.

Taking in a surreal vision of America, the game is heavily inspired by a myriad of American folk cultures and novels.

Citing such influences as folk songs and stories which were shared between European settlers and Native Americans, the game also makes a creative nod to such works as John Stienbeck’s Grapes of Wrath and Mark Twain’s The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn.

While no release date, in-game media or platform details have been announced at this point, Dim Bulb Games have uploaded some concept art for the game that you can see over on the official site.
