Starting tomorrow, on October 17, the Indie Games for Good marathon returns for its fourth annual run at raising proceeds for the Child’s Play Charity.

Set to be broadcast live, the marathon will feature over 100 different games, with the majority being chosen by viewers who make donations to the cause. Furthermore, viewers will also have the opportunity to win prizes from raffles and giveaways in addition to being able to take part in live auctions.

To date, the group has played over 240 hours for charity and has raised more than $30,000 since it was created four years ago.

How long the marathon lasts however, is entirely dependent on the amount of funds raised. So far, for example, over $1,000 has been raised which ensures that the marathon will run for a minimum of 50 hours.

With the festivities set to start on October 17 at 12pm PT, folks can join in over at the Indie Games for Good website.
