Indie Haven has a great community of contributors interested in doing excellent game journalism, and now we are interested in tapping the indie game development community to provide their perspective. Unfortunately, Indie Haven can’t pay you for these posts, but what we offer is a platform to get your name out there. Many of our readers are game developers themselves and getting a post up on our site could help a fellow industry professionals and readers alike.

We invite indie developers to contribute to Indie Haven as guest bloggers. The types of posts we are looking for are ones that offer insight into the development, marketing and trends in the industry from the perspective of those that make games.

How do you apply?

Email us at with Developer Blog in the subject line. In the body tell us who you are and give us a pitch for your blog post. Our editorial staff will review pitches for all potential blog posts and contact the developers we are interested in bringing in.

What are we looking for?

Insight into the industry from professionals, not blatant self promotion of your game. Have something to say that will benefit fellow developers and our readers alike.

We also want people that are willing to be edited by our staff. Your post will undergo the same editorial process as our contributors meaning pieces will be checked by two Indie Haven editors before going up. Note that editors will be on the lookout for stylistic and grammatical changes, not necessarily for content.
