Never Alone, an Alaskan platform adventure with a distinctive folklore slant is set to release next week on PC, PS4 and Xbox One platforms.

To mark the occasion, developer Upper One Games has released a launch trailer for the game.

Never Alone puts players in the snow-caked boots of a young girl named Nuna who, together with her fox companion, are tasked to investigate the cause of an endless blizzard that threatens their tribe.

Able to be played in either single-player or cooperatively where players can switch between Nuna and her fox friend, the game would seem to play like a snow-capped cross between Limbo and ICO.

Due to release on November 18th (19th for Europe), Never Alone has been developed in collaboration with Native Alaskans as part of an initiative kicked off by the Cook Inlet Tribal Council (CITC) in Anchorage.

The game is expected to retail for $14.99.
