Nintendo of America has teamed up with the deal-makers at Humble Bundle to showcase some of its platforms’ most notable independent offerings. Adorably known as the Humble Nindie Bundle, this promotion nets Nintendo fans up to eight games between the Wii U and 3DS consoles. Charitable proceeds from the event go to, an organization which focuses on furthering education in the field of computer sciences.

For any price buyers receive Nintendo eShop codes for Guacamelee! Super Turbo Championship Edition for Wii U, as well as 3DS downloads for Woah Dave! and Mighty Switch Force. By surpassing the average donation ($9.23 at the time of this writing) the bundle is upgraded to include The Fall on Wii U, Moon Chronicles Episode 1 on 3DS, and a copy of OlliOlli for both systems, with a promise of additional games to be announced for this tier at a later time. The final price point of $10.00 adds Stealth Inc 2 to the Wii U roster, as well as SteamWorld Dig on each console.

The North American exclusivity of this campaign is a sore point on what is otherwise a very promising first foray into Humble Bundle territory for Nintendo. The company has shown interest in the indie market in the past by offering specialized discounts on the eShop and devoting portions of Nintendo Direct livestreams to highlighting upcoming releases. However, this is the first time they have utilized an external storefront to do so. Here’s hoping this is an indication of even more support to come.
