When Project Phoenix first hit Kickstarter back in 2013, it was originally slated for a 2015 release. But now, in the last moments of the year, the developers have delayed the project into 2018.

The main reason for the delay is that their programmer has become busy working on other projects. With that in mind, the developers have put out a call for more programmers to join the project.

But perhaps the most notable part of the delay is that the developers are considering refunds on the project. That doesn’t mean they’re outright offering refunds on pledges just yet; according to them, “to initiate refunds is to give up on the project.” However, they are considering the possibility.
